Rose, Stovall and Adamcik accompanied by three detectives from the Sheriff's Office went to the home of Ruth Paine, w/f, 2515 W. 5th Street, Irving Texas. She stated we must have come about the shooting. We asked her if we could search the house, and she said, "Yes, I know that you need to save all the time you can, and it is certainly all right with me." Mrs. Lee Harvey Oswald was also at the house. In Marina Oswald's room we found some maps, photographic equipment, etc., (see supplement of property taken from 2515 W. 5th on 11-22-63). In the garage Marina Oswald pointed out a blanket that Lee Oswald kept his rifle in. Blanket was released to FBI and Taken to Washington. Mr. Michael Paine arrived while we were there. Michael Paine, Ruth Paine and Marina Oswald were brought to the Homicide Office and affidavits were taken from them.
